SCION Day 2026 – BENELUX EDITION

SCION DAY 2026 – Benelux edition, for the first time this SCION flagship event will be held in the Netherlands, on May 19, 2026.

SCION technology is an Internet protocol deployed across critical infrastructure to increase security and cyber resilience. It enables network optionality by allowing users to choose which infrastructure their data is forwarded through, thereby reducing the attack surface of critical IT networks.

Join us to explore the technology and science behind SCION, and hear first-hand from organizations and experts working with it in practice. This is a community event designed to open the discussion to policy makers, journalists, as well as representatives from business and industry who are interested in learning more about this new approach to secure networking. Beyond security, SCION represents a strategic approach to compliance with EU regulations such as DORA and NIS2.

The entrance is free.

Keynote – Cyber Warfare: The new realities of digital geopolitics

Don Eijndhoven, expert in the fields of cybersecurity, digital geopolitics, and warfare in the digital domain.

Russian cyber operations in Ukraine, the American threat to Digital Sovereignty, China’s cyber attacks on European tech companies: Just a few of the headlines we’ve seen in our newspapers over the past year. Digital geopolitics is no longer an abstract theoretical problem for academic research, it’s a new fundamental activity in the International Relations sphere that is giving boardrooms a headache. Don Eijndhoven, founder of the Dutch Cyber Warfare Community and former Cyber Warfare reserve officer for the Dutch military, will offer insight into how this new world is defined, and how its players operate.
