Lucerne, 20.10.2026 – We’re excited to announce that Colt Technology Services, the global digital infrastructure company, has joined the SCION Association.
Following a two-year proof of concept, Colt recently launched its SCION offering to the market following extensive testing, making SCION-based connectivity commercially available to its enterprise customers in Europe, North America and Asia.
Colt’s engagement with the SCION ecosystem began several years ago through community activities, including SCION DAY. Its membership in the SCION Association goes hand in hand with its SCION go-to-market strategy and creates new opportunities for collaboration through the Association’s committees, events, industry outreach, and activities aimed at driving awareness and adoption of SCION.
Peter Coppens, VP Product, Colt, says “Being able to deliver more secure, trusted and resilient connectivity requires collaboration across the entire ecosystem. By joining the SCION Association, Colt gains a valuable partner to help advance the adoption of secure, path-aware connectivity for critical sectors. We look forward to sharing our experience, contributing to the community, and working together to accelerate SCION adoption globally to the benefit of our enterprise customers.”
Nicola Rustignoli, co-CEO, SCION Association, emphasizes: “We’re delighted to welcome Colt to the SCION Association. As a leading global B2B connectivity provider with an extensive B2B fiber network and a strong presence across critical sectors, Colt brings valuable expertise and reach to our community. Its decision to bring a commercial SCION offering to market is another important step in expanding access to secure and resilient connectivity. We look forward to working together to further grow the SCION ecosystem internationally.”
