The Verband Schweizerischer Elektrizitätsunternehmen (VSE) joins the SCION Association

24.02.2026, Lucerne – We are pleased to announce that the Verband Schweizerischer Elektrizitätsunternehmen VSE (Association of Swiss Electricity Companies) is joining the SCION Association as a member.

VSE is the driving force behind the Secure Swiss Utility Network (SSUN), launched in August 2025. Powered by SCION, the SSUN provides a secure digital environment that interconnects utility companies across Switzerland. It enables reliable access to the national data platform (in accordance with the Electricity Ordinance StromVV and the SDND policies on standardised data exchange) and safeguards data flows related to decentralised production and network flexibility management.

The initiative is supported by Anapaya, AXPO Systems, Cyberlink, GAS&COM, Litecom, Sunrise and Swisscom. With VSE joining our Association, we look forward to strengthening our collaboration and raising awareness of SCION’s value for the utility and energy sector beyond Switzerland.
